Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Westhoff!

Over the weekend, Matt and Mindy were married in the beautiful barn his grandparents began farming in many years ago, now a gorgeous wedding venue in northeast Iowa called Windmill Hill Barn. The day was absolutely perfect. Crisp morning air was followed by a sunny warm afternoon of celebration — and I’m so honored I got to be there for it!

When we arrived at the venue there was a calm excitement that rustled through the barn and the corncrib “getting ready” suites for the bride and groom. (From the minute I met Mindy and watched Matt pull up on his Harley Davidson for engagement photos, I knew this was going to be a fun couple! I seriously luck out with the BEST COUPLES! ) The guys got ready so quick they had their portraits done while the ladies finished up with hair and makeup. The bridesmaids were stunning in pine green gowns that complimented the groomsmen’s light gray tuxes — and the Bride was absolute perfection in white tulle and jewels! Radiant.

The ceremony took place on the second floor of the beautiful old barn, with high ceilings, and rows and rows of friends and family there to witness their commitment to each other. After the ceremony we spent time documenting the immediate family and then headed in for a catered reception, homemade sweets and ice cream. — Dairy Bar in a Dairy Barn sounds just about right!

There was dancing and toasts, lots of smiles, laughter, and so much joy. It was so wonderful to spend the day with this super amazing group of people. It was also fun working alongside such great vendors and knowing that it was important to Mindy and Matt to support local small businesses (vendors listed below). Hope you enjoy this little glimpse from their most special day!
